- Snow: types, consistency, metamorphosis. Avalanches.
- Snowshoes: uses march
- Winter Camp: armedgeneral considerations
- First Steps: Open footprint, slopes, ascent, descents and self-arrest
- Personal equipment, uses and characteristics: Pole, Ice Axe, Ice ax, crampons
- Safety equipment, uses and characteristics: Anchors, stakes, screws, nails.
- Security Chordee: Assemble, roped glacier.
- Snow and ice climbing: Runners, waterfalls (piolet traction). mixed Climbing
Additional: For those who are encouraged, after the course, we propose an ascent of Mount Alvear, one of the emblematic peaks in the region and one of the highest hills in this part of the range. The ascent is semi-technical and requires the use of almost all views in the course techniques. It is also open to people with experience in snow and ice terrain.
